How do I correctly measure the neck Size of a dog?

PLEASE ALWAYS MEASURE ON THE DOG'S NECK AND NOT ON THE COLLAR!

Collar with fixed neck 2 dimensions (click fastener):

When measuring you have to think in advance, where the collar should be later. Once you have found the right spot, measure the entire neck circumference of the dog relatively tightly (adopt these measurements) and then place a finger between the neck and the measuring tape (adopt these measurements)

So the collar is not too tight later!

Pull-Stopp Collar: Here you need 3 measures:

First, measure the neck circumference of your dog where the collar should sit later. (With a finger in between)

Then you measure in the same place once without fingers in between.

Lastly, you must place the measuring tape at the widest part of the head, with ears set, and measure that circumference.

Decide where the collar should be later. Rather, quite far above (PIC 1), in the middle of the neck (PIC 2), or rather lower down (PIC 3) Measure once with adjoining measuring tape (dimensions 1) and then place one finger between the dog's neck and the measuring tape (dimensions 2) In a train stop collar or a Retrieverleine, you have to additionally measure the head circumference of your dog again as on (PIC 4)
